New York House Republicans Stand By Convicted Felon, Donald Trump
NEW YORK – Yesterday, Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 felony charges. The Republican Party is nominating a convicted criminal as its presidential candidate, and New York House Republicans are doubling down on their support. While New York Republicans claim to be for law and order, they were quick to come to the defense of their boss, convicted felon Donald Trump.
New York’s most vulnerable House Republicans have all endorsed Donald Trump: Rep. Nick LaLota, Rep. Anthony D’Esposito, Rep. Mike Lawler, Rep. Marc Molinaro, and Rep. Brandon Williams. Within minutes of the court’s ruling, the members rushed to Trump’s defense, making it clear that they would continue to pledge their allegiance to a convicted felon.
